I provide individual therapy for adults and older teens, generally age 16 and up, in person in Edmonton and virtually throughout Alberta.
You do not need to know exactly what diagnosis you have or what kind of therapy you need before booking. A reasonable place to start is simply with what has been difficult lately.
Common reasons people come to therapy
ADHD & Executive Functioning
Problems with starting, organizing, remembering, planning, managing time, emotional regulation, or consistently following through.

Exhaustion, chronic stress, reduced motivation, resentment, or realizing that your current way of functioning is becoming unsustainable.
Faith Transition & Religious Trauma

Other areas I work with

- Trauma-related concerns
- Life transitions
- Self-esteem, shame, and perfectionism
- Relationship and interpersonal concerns within individual therapy
- Mindfulness and ACT-related work

What therapy is like
We might look at where a pattern came from, but insight is only one part of the work.
I tend to look at what is happening now, what seems to keep the problem going, and what might realistically change it.
Depending on the person, we may also look at thoughts, emotions, behaviour, relationships, executive functioning, avoidance, identity, values, past experiences, or practical changes in everyday life.
My approach draws from several evidence-informed models rather than requiring every client to fit one.
